I love beauty in utilitarian objects. Thumbs up.

Fontana Arte‘s minimalist She
design is made of bent metal that comes in either glossy white or
glossy black. A fluorescent bulb is tucked up under the top portion of
the shelf and the metal in the light’s housing is reflective, bouncing
light down onto the shelf. Pefect for a tiny space, the shelf comes in
two sizes and reduces the clutter of a free-standing lamp.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. Then last weekend I bought TWO more. They are that good. These are handmade with stainless steel mesh, so it’s made to last. Plus, they have a nice smooth feel to them, and they are always a little cool (even in my back pocket in 98 degree weather). The one I got is $95 new (the first picture), but I got it for $15 during a sample sale. When I came the second time the sale was over but I simply asked if they had any more sample items and the kind lady produced a whole box of em from the backroom. I suggest you do the same if you do not feel like paying mucho bucks for a new one.
The store is located in Dumbo Brooklyn.
